Tradition and simplicity in the art of leatherwork

Abstract

This work presents two collections of leather goods. One richly ornamented with traditional embroidered motifs and another characterized by a simple and elegant design. The collections were made by the author from the waste left over from the natural leather cutting process within leather enterprises. Both approaches demonstrate the craftsmanship of craftsmen and the importance of preserving tradition in a constantly changing world.
